Welcome you to the Website of the New Brunswick Scottish-Cultural Association. On the following pages you will find the history of the Association, the latest news on our initiatives, links to other sites of interest, the Association's governing structure, Constitution, By-Laws, how to become a member, subscribe to the NB Scottish Journal and so much more.

New Brunswick has a very rich Scottish heritage. Everywhere you will find history of the Scottish immigrants who settled and built this province economically, socially, politically and culturally. President Dan Taylor, the Executive, the Board of Directors and the Committee Chairs are committed to the promotion of this Association and its work in promoting and protecting the Scottish culture in New Brunswick.

We believe that the Association's most important function is to establish links with the different Scottish groups in New Brunswick -- to bind more closely together these diverse groups to improve communication and the sharing of information.

I hope you will find this site interesting and informative and that it will give you a true picture of the role of the Association in New Brunswick. If you have any questions, general comments or just suggestions on how this site can be improved, we would love to hear from you.

Gail Duncan
Corresponding Secretary
New Brunswick Scottish-Cultural Association Inc.

The NBSCA requires your continued support. Now in our 28th year of service to the Scottish community, the NBSCA is focussing on consolidating the successes of the last two-and-one-half decades. We strive to increase our membership, advance youth initiatives, and seek out new opportunities to promote Scottish culture in New Brunswick. The Association welcomes membership enquiries from New Brunswickers and non-residents alike. At the same time, we welcome additional volunteers to assist one of our many committees. We have need of whatever talent you can offer. All you need do is contact us.
